KEYMILE showcases innovations for high-speed networks11. October 2018
KEYMILE will present its extensive portfolio of products for high-speed broadband access solutions during the Broadband World Forum at Berlin’s trade fair from 23 to 25 October 2018 in hall 22a, on stand B109. The new MileGate 2042 FTTB solution enables data rates of up to 2 Gbps. Another new product is an integrated VDSL2 vectoring solution that allows network operators to offer bandwidth of 300 Mbps.
FTTB is gathering momentum. It’s primarily regional and local network operators (who account for around three quarters of all optical fibre connections in Germany) that install fibre-to-the-building (FTTB) in densely populated urban areas. It’s at this target group that KEYMILE’s directing its new MileGate 2042 FTTB solution. In a compact wall housing MileGate 2042 offers eight G.fast ports with 212 MHz profile that enables aggregated data rates (upstream plus downstream) of up to 2 Gbps. KEYMILE is expanding its FTTB portfolio of solutions with MileGate 2042, which will be available in the first half of 2019. Regional network operators in particular are choosing KEYMILE’s FTTB G.fast ONUs. MileGate 2112 was launched in summer 2018 and is already being operated successfully in several urban German networks.
A card for the MileGate IP-MSAN family for broadband access to residential and corporate customers is another new product that KEYMILE will be showing on the stand at the forum. This product will be available in the first half of 2019 too. It offers 48 ports and supports VDSL2 vectoring with a 35b profile and allows network operators to offer connections of up to 300 Mbps.
Furthermore, KEYMILE will present its modular MileGate 3510 FTTH OLT platform to create passive optical network with exceptional port density. Network operators can use its 96 ports to connect around 12,000 residential and corporate customers. The compact MileGate 3031 network node enables cost-efficient provision of powerful optical fibre networks even in sparsely populated areas. KEYMILE offers the IP-MSAN MileGate 2510 to implement P2P (point-to-point) architecture with active access technology.
