Digital cross-connect Systems (DXC): Effectively Connecting Data Streams
The purpose of digital cross-connect systems is to regroup and switch data streams between the interfaces of the cross-connect system. In the access networks of public, private and mobile phone telecommunications networks, the 64 kbps and 2 Mbps level is frequently switched on to achieve the most effective use of expensive service and connecting lines.
