Data Privacy Statement
We take the protection of your personal data very seriously, particularly when you come into contact with us online. Therefore, we not only endeavour to give you an in-depth online offering, but also to maintain your rights to determine what information is stored about you and to protect your privacy. The legal framework is in particular provided by the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz BDSG) and the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz TMG).
To a large degree you can determine whether your personal data is disclosed. Personal data includes your name, your address, your e-mail address and your telephone number. Please note that this type of data is required to some extent, for example to process a sales-related request from you. Should you disclose personal data to us, we will only use it to deal with your request. We will not sell, lease or in any other way forward your personal data to third parties outside the KEYMILE Group. You can demand information on the data stored about you, or request this data to be deleted at any time. Personal data is always transmitted to KEYMILE in an encrypted form.
We use the Piwik tracking system when you visit our websites. Piwik allows us to create anonymised user profiles and statistics in real time. These include information on the search engines used, the search terms entered, the languages chosen, the origin of the visitors according to country, the browsers and their plugins used, the referrers, the time spent on the website, the first and last pages visited, cancellation rates and your IP address. When storing your IP address, the last two bytes are masked. In other words, your IP address is only shortened and saved anonymously. The data captured during the Piwik analysis will not be combined by other programs or services with any more of your data (if such data exists at all). By activating the “do not track” setting on standard browsers, you can clarify that you do not want any tracking of your data. Our Piwik settings accept any “do not track” settings. Therefore, you can object to the use of Piwik at any time (Link).
In order to statistically evaluate visitor access, technologies from Leadinspector GmbH are used to record, process and store data for marketing purpose and to track website visitors. Based on these data, the technology from Leadinspector GmbH determines an address, but only in cases in which it can be ensured that the visitor is a company and not an individual person. So-called cookies may be used in this respect. Cookies are small text files which are stored on your computer and are utilised to analyse your use of the website. The company data recorded by Leadinspector GmbH may also contain personal data. XXLAPPs GmbH may use information left behind during visits to the website to create anonymised utilisation profiles. If IP addresses are recorded, they are made anonymous immediately after recording by deleting the last number block.
Data recording and storage by Leadinspector GmbH for this website may be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
Links in the newsletter contain individual sequences of characters. They allow capture of the use of the newsletter by each recipient (called link tracking). The option to capture personal information is not used. The only personal data captured is the frequency with which our newsletter mails are opened in total and which links and how often they are clicked on in the newsletter.
KEYMILE GmbH consistently checks and updates information which is provided on these websites. Despite exercising caution, the data can have changed in the meantime. Therefore, KEYMILE accepts no guarantee for the information provided being accurate, complete or up to date. Any liability for damage caused due to direct or indirect use of such web pages is ruled out, insofar as such damage is not a result of wilful intent or gross negligence, or insofar has no liability is incurred due to mandatory statutory regulations.

Texts, images, graphics, sounds, animated sequences or videos, as well as the layout thereof on these web pages, are subjected worldwide to copyright protection and other copyright legislation. Any unauthorised use, reproduction or forwarding of content or full pages can be subjected to the pursuit of criminal or civil action. KEYMILE would like to emphasise that some of the images on these web pages are subject to third-party copyright. All addresses that KEYMILE publishes on its web pages are for informative purposes only. Any commercial use thereof by third parties is not permitted.
If not otherwise specified, all trademarks mentioned on these web pages are legally protected brands of KEYMILE GmbH. This applies in particular to the product names and logos. All other product and company names are brands of the proprietors concerned.
As the provider of the website content, KEYMILE is responsible for its own content in line with current legislation. A differentiation must be made between KEYMILE’s own content and links to content from other providers. Through such links KEYMILE provides connections to third-party content. KEYMILE is only responsible for such third-party content if KEYMILE knows about it (i.e. should such content be illegal or of a criminal nature) and KEYMILE can be reasonably expected to and has the technical means to prevent usage thereof.
However, links are always dynamic. When the link is created initially, KEYMILE does check the third-party content to establish whether such content entails any responsibility under civil or criminal law. However, German law states that KEYMILE is not obliged to constantly check content which it refers to in its offering to discover whether it might be responsible therefor. Only when KEYMILE ascertains, or is made aware of the fact by others that an actual offering to which KEYMILE has included a link infers responsibility under civil or criminal law, will KEYMILE remove the link to this offering, insofar as KEYMILE can be reasonably expected and has the technical means to do so.
