Overview

This course is designed for all engineers and technicians who work with SDH technology and require the skills and knowledge to configure the SDH transmission and access interfaces within the UMUX platform.

 

Target Group

Upon completion of this course the participants will have a basic knowledge of the SDH Network Elements and applications, including the principles of synchronisation and the different types of protection mechanisms. They will be able to configure and commission the SDH interface types, and be able to interpret alarms.

Pre-requisites

Attendance or comprehensive working knowledge of the content of the following course: UMUX Fundamentals.
