Overview
This course builds on the topics covered during the MileGate Fundamentals course, focusing on the packet voice functionality and NGN (Next Generation Networks) applications supported on the MileGate platform. The common signalling protocols of MEGACO (H.248) and SIP are introduced together with the VoIP-based network architectures.
Participants learn about the implementation of MEGACO and SIP Gateways on the MileGate platform, and the associated subscriber interface units.
