Overview

This course is designed for all those who require a technical knowledge of the MileGate 2500 IP-DSLAM. This includes Installation and Commissioning engineers, Operations and Maintenance staff, Support engineers and Planners.

This course is designed firstly to provide a concise introduction to the architecture, technologies, protocols and principles of service delivery from a packet-backhaul IPDSLAM (Internet Protocol Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer), and how these are handled by the MileGate MSAN (Multi-Service Access Node).

Target Group

Secondly the course provides a series of very practical elements in which each of the functions of the MileGate platform is explained and demonstrated, from configuration, through commissioning, to operation.

New protocols and technologies are introduced and explained in connection to their relevance to the operation of the platform.
